SMART Courses
Due to an increase in the information given during the Train the Trainer Course it has now been divided into a SMART Board Users Level 1 course and a Level 2 course. Both courses are 5 hours long. The course takes an indepth look at all aspects of the SMART Board and the software associated with it. The Level 1 course is for those who are completely new to the SMART Board technology while the Level 2 course assumes some knowledge of the SMART Board and SMART Notebook. It is usually run in the holidays or can be run on request. The cost is $121 (GST inc) per person per session which includes the training, a hard copy of the SMART Learner Workbook appropriate to the Level and morning tea. After school sessions in your school
The staff from 'Now What? Training' can run sessions at your schools that can be tailored to the needs of your staff. These sessions can be for a large group or a hands on session with a smaller number of staff.
Sessions during a 'Pupil Free Day'
We can tailor make one or a number of sessions for your staff to participate in during a Pupil Free Day.
PM Courses
PM Courses are 2 hour courses that indivdual staff can book into to suit their own needs. These sessions are hosted at schools around the state. Check out the link to the PM Courses. 'Making the most of your SMART Board'
This course - new in 2011- is aimed at those who would like a more 'hands on' approach to their SMART Board learning. Four x 1.5hr sessions are run over a term to give participants the opportunity to create useful files with SMART Notebook. Topics to be covered include The Basics, The Gallery, Hide and Reveal, Lesson Activity Toolkit, Mixing in Media and Building a unit. The sessions will be held at St Agnes Primary, 250 Smart Rd, St Agnes. Teachers can book in individually - $110 (GST inc) per person. Participants need to bring a USB stor drive and afternoon tea will be provided.
Term 3 course is now open for bookings.
This will be held on Monday after school from 4-5.30pm at St Agnes School on Monday July 30th, Aug 13th, Aug 27th & Sept 10th (Wk 3,5,7 & 9).
